Since the summer of 2016 I have been living, working and traveling around the middle east, doing project of various kinds. The various wallpaintings in the Syrian refugee camps in Akkar, Northern Lebanon as well as elsewhere is attempts to share and create together with the people that are there, whoever they are, wherever they come from and whatever their situation might be.
From 2016 – 2021 I was living, working and traveling around the middle east, doing project of various kinds. The following is some examples og that
.
Houses, Wallpaintings, Syrian Refugeecamps, Akkar, North Lebanon, 2017 / 2018
The people, mainly kids, where asked to each paint a house of own choice. As the number of houses developed the many individual houses turned into a city making the individual house/painting becoming a part of a bigger collective city/painting. The individual effort becoming a part of a bigger picture so to say.

Woman, girl and cat. School for Syrian refugees, Akkar, North Lebanon 2017/2018
In this wall piece I incorporated different elements from the kids drawings so their drawings in a sense would become a part of the fairytale or story of the painting itself.
